Rā Mutunga

Rā Mutunga
This year for Rā Mutunga we had a great turnout, with many uri showing an interest in the dual AGM’s – Urenui Pa Trustees and Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Mutunga. Situated down in Titohea, whānau had the opportunity on arrival to register for this event and receive their information bag, vote for those that hadn’t done so, and mix and mingle before the formalities begun. There was a rolling cuppa on offer throughout the presentations and lots of opportunity for whānau participation. On completion of the formalities whānau were invited to join Brent and Audra for a Whakapakari update in Te Aroha, while the dining room was transformed ready for everyone to enjoy the beautifully prepared kai.

Due to the weather, the planned activity for the afternoon was put on hold and Mitchell delivered a short presentation on the new interpretive signage at down at the Onaero beach camp.
