Strategy Review and Whānau Engagement Roadshow

We have two important kaupapa this year that we want to share with you.

  1. The review of the Strategic Plan for Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Mutunga.
  2. Whānau Engagement Roadshow

Strategic Plan Review

It has been 5 years since the release of the Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Mutunga Strategic Plan – Ko Te Anga Pūtake Ora o Ngāti Mutunga 2019-2024.

The plan was developed from feedback provided by whānau during the review hui held in 2018.

Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Mutunga will again be hosting a series of hui to review its strategic plan during 2024. We encourage Ngāti Mutunga whānau to attend these hui and provide your feedback on what you think has worked well and share your aspirations for the next 5 years.

Members of the Board and Management team will be in attendance at each of the planned hui. The dates and locations of the hui are provided below:

  • Saturday 4 May, 1:00pm-4:00pm, Sudima Airport Hotel, Christchurch
  • Saturday 6 July, 10:00am-1:00pm, Te Tatau o te Pō, Wellington
  • Saturday 3 August, 10:00am-1:00pm, Naumi Hotel, Auckland
  • Saturday 17 August, Urenui, (afternoon) Urenui Community Centre

Whānau Engagement Roadshows

Te Whiringa is the Charitable Trust for the Rūnanga. The team want to come and say hi to you and your whānau.

Whānau engagement is the primary focus for Te Whiringa and activity has really increased since Te Whiringa employed their Pou Whiringa Matua (Whānau Engagement Manager), Larnee Wallace. Te Whiringa has recently employed a new Pou Whiringa (Whānau Engagement Coordinator), Destiny Hodges-Paul, and will be present to connect with you all. One of our kaitiaki of our Charitable Trust, Gina Blackburn, along with one of our Associate Kaitiaki, Pairo McLeod, will also be present. The Charitable trust are working hard to drive a new focus to the trust and are excited to connect with you.

This is an opportunity to meet the Te Whiringa team and share your aspirations for the whānau engagement space. It is also an awesome way to reconnect with and meet new whanau. So bring along your tamariki and mokopuna and the team will entertain them with games, kai, activities, and giveaways.

The dates and locations of the hui are provided below:

  • Sunday 5 May, 4:00pm-7:00pm, Move X, 230 Maces Rd, Christchurch
  • Saturday 6 July, 3:00pm-6:00pm, Jumperama, Hutt Park Rd, Wellington
  • Saturday 3 August, 4:00pm-7:00pm, Gravity NZ, 5a Ronwood Avenue, Auckland
