Wānanga to prepare for opening of Te Aroha

He puāwai au nō runga i te tikanga, he rau rengarenga au nō roto i te raukura, ko taku raukura rā he manawanui ki te ao.

Kia ora e te whānau, the Urenui Pā Trustees are excited to announce a series of wānanga in preparation for the opening our wharenui, Te Aroha. This is a special moment for all Ngāti Mutunga uri to come home and be part of a significant and historical kaupapa.

As our Pā is currently closed until the opening, we have booked the Urenui Community Centre for our wānanga. The first wānanga will be held on Saturday, 3 May at 10 am, with the remaining dates on 24 May and 14 June.

Please bring kai to share and be ready to contribute in any way you can. More details will be shared at our first wānanga.  We look forward to seeing you all there…..
