Nominations for Te Pūnanga Ora

NOMINATIONS FOR A NGĀTI MUTUNGA REPRESENTATIVE FOR TE PŪNANGA ORA (IWI-MĀORI PARTNERSHIP BOARD)

Nominations are hereby invited for the position of Board Representative for Ngāti Mutunga on the Te Pūnanga Ora Board.

Te Pūnanga Ora is the Taranaki Iwi-Māori Partnership Board established through the Māori Health Authority. As a Board Representative for Ngāti Mutunga, you will be one of eight representatives tasked with setting and approving the Taranaki Māori policy direction relating to health and community-based services and leading the commissioning of services informed by locality planning across the Taranaki Region.

There is one (1) vacancy available for the Board Representative for Ngāti Mutunga for Te Pūnanga Ora (Iwi-Māori Partnership Board).  Nominees must be adult registered members (ie 18+ years) of Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Mutunga.

FORM OF NOMINATIONS

Nominations must be submitted in writing in accordance with the official Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Mutunga nomination form.  Nomination forms can be attained by contacting the office by phone on 06 752 3247 or by email at office@ngatimutunga.iwi.nz.

CLOSING DATE

Completed forms should be sent to Te Whiringa Kaitiaki, Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Mutunga, PO Box 32, Urenui 4349, Taranaki, or via E-Mail to office@ngatimutunga.iwi.nz by 5pm Monday 22nd of January 2024.   Nominations received after this date will not be accepted.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF CONFIRMED CANDIDATES

The successful candidate will be announced at the AGM on 10 February 2024 and notified through our website and social media channel.

INVITATION TO REGISTER

Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Mutunga invites applications from qualified persons for inclusion of their names in the Ngāti Mutunga register.  Registration forms are available by contacting the Rūnanga office or via the website.
