Kororā nesting season is well under way with two sets of chicks from our monitored nest boxes at Urenui fully fledged and another set incubating presently. This is great news as no tracked and monitored kororā around Aotearoa have had two sets of chicks until this season at Taranaki, both at Ngāmotu and Urenui. We are so happy for our kororā and have plenty of reports of kororā around the beachcamps and Urenui village being noisy and smelly under houses.
