10.30am – Kai Korero 1: Sean Ellison – Grandson of the late Dr Pohau Ellison and son of the late Dr Tom Ellison
11.30am – Kai Korero 2: Marilyn Tuuta – ’50 years of Nursing’ – a reflective sharing of 5 decades of nursing in four countries and the significant changes in this profession that impact on them and the people they care for on a daily basis.
12.30pm – Kai Korero 3: Pounamu Skelton & Marie Doorbar – an introduction into Rongoa Mara Kai – growing your own kai, your own medicine and Rongoa Ngahere – natural medicine.
1.00pm – Hākari “He Kai – He Rongoa” – Let Kai be your medicine – This year we have set ourselves the challenge of preparing and serving the haakari with minimal processed food.
