Picnic @ the Pā is a biennial event where Ngāti Mutunga Iwi welcomes the community onto our marae, to celebrate and promote whakawhānaungatanga and Ngāti Mutungatanga.
The day will feature live entertainment, a range of stalls and a number of children’s activities.
The live entertainment line-up will consist of three rōpū:
Thru the Ages
From Kaiwhaiki, Whanganui. Thru the Ages will be taking it back to the beautiful sounds of yester year with songs that never die
NVST
Up and coming local talent from Waitara who will get your feet moving and your hips swaying with their beautiful harmonies and melodies with a twist of NVST flair
Aidan & Ash
Leading artists in Taranaki, Aidan & Ash will be covering many genres from pop to reggae, dub & RnB, showcasing their vocal rich harmonies.
There will be a variety of stalls, so be sure to bring some cash along with you so that you are able to buy and taste the beautiful kai on offer.
Children’s activities will include a bouncy castle, face painting and colouring competition. Various spot prizes are also up for grabs.
