This year’s Kaumātua Christmas gathering was held at the Urenui Hotel, and it was a wonderful occasion enjoyed by all who attended. The festive season provided the perfect opportunity to come together, reconnect, and share good food in great company.
It was especially heartwarming to host this event in Urenui, offering a chance for those who hadn’t yet visited the hotel since its reopening to experience its new atmosphere. There was plenty of kōrero, laughter, and moments of joy as everyone caught up with old friends and made new memories.
