Matiu Te Rei-Tuuta, Maioha Watson, and Kitt O’Carroll-Leota were our Ngāti Mutunga nominees for the 2025 Aspiring Leaders Forum. On Thursday 21 August, they travelled to Wellington to participate in an impactful four-day forum alongside other emerging young leaders from across Aotearoa. The forum provided a valuable opportunity to hear from inspirational speakers, build meaningful connections, explore how values can shape and guide one’s approach to leadership, and gain insights into leadership across a wide range of disciplines.
Each day brought new insights, perspectives, and moments of realisation that will serve as lasting touchstones for our nominees as they continue to grow and contribute as leaders within their communities and beyond.
