Administration Vacancy

The Rūnanga is seeking to employ a full-time administration officer at our office in Urenui, North Taranaki.

The Administration Officer role reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of TRoNM and ensures the administrative tasks of the Rūnanga Group and functions of TRoNM Group are carried out effectively.  The role has general administrative, reception, Board support, funding application, magazine, website and Facebook as well as event preparation duties. The role is also back-up for the Group payroll, invoicing and payment responsibilities. A good knowledge of Microsoft Office is also preferred.

Key attributes sought in applicants for this position include:

  • Strong organisational and administrative expertise.
  • Good knowledge of accounting packages & payroll systems.
  • A proven ability to handle and prioritise multiple tasks.
  • A clear and effective communicator.
  • A reputation for delivery.

This is a key role within a small team that requires a special person with a commitment to Māori economic and cultural development.
