We are excited to have Fern Kumeroa and Bruce Potaka join our team in July and August.
Fern is a freshwater ecologist working at the Taranaki Regional Council. She has been released for 0.5FTE at Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Mutunga on secondment to assist us in our freshwater mahi and to hopefully learn from us as well.
Bruce has been volunteering with us for a number of years doing trapping, participating in fish surveys, Kiwi surveys, Kororā mahi and field trips to our more remote locations. It is great to have him officially on the team for 6 months to support the many various projects we have going on around the rohe.
